The magazine Challenges has a poll out with a view of first round voting in next year's presidential election. Of course, this should be read with caution. The field of candidates is still quite wide. Les Républicains, the Socialists and the Greens (EELV) are still to select their candidate. Voters haven't started to focus yet on who is in the running. But it gives a nice view, almost seven months out, of the starting position and we can look back at this as the race progresses.
Here's how things look if we assume Xavier Bertrand will represent the centre-right (he currently polls slightly better than his main rival Valérie Pécresse) and if Yannick Jadot represents the Greens.

If we take another scenario where Pécresse gets the nomination from Les Républicains, the race looks like this.

In both scenarios, we end up with a repeat of the second round runoff from 2017 between Macron and Le Pen and here's how they think that works out.

Same result as last time (a Macron win) but with a smaller margin (Macron won 66% vs 34% last time).
I always like to provide the source material when I can for those who want the full story, so here's a link to the full poll findings on the Harris Interactive website.
